What’s unique about this Sportster, is when the wife joined HOG/Ladies of Harley back in ’97 they sent her a welcome letter, and congratulated her on her bike, which from the S/N, they said it was one of only 51 to come from the factory with the Peach Pearl custom paint. The objective was to give this bike a face lift and make it road worthy after sitting for the last 8 years What motivated you to start your project?Īfter a two bouts with lymphoma, then a triple bypass, i needed some garage therapy, and the wife’s bike was the perfect fix for my hands and mind. wanted me to clean it up at the time, but working 12 hrs day, 6 &7 days a week didn’t leave time for that. The bike was heavily oxidized from the salt air/water. We bought this bike fro a girl who lived one block from the ocean in Port Orange, Fl.
